this little scrub is great to use in the shower after work or after dealing with any other stressful event i.e meeting up with toxic family, running errands, etc! it helps soothe that hectic feeling and provides a healing and comforting energy
what youβll need;
sugar
thyme
chamomile
optional;
rose quartz helps this process move along and charges up the spell perfectly if you have some on hand! i like to charge the scrub with it as iβm grinding everything up and/or hold it over my chest with the scrub sitting on it for a moment, but literally none of this is necessary i donβt even do it every time i just use it for a little kick when i need it
πΈ just mash everything up together neatly and methodically, meditate on the state of mind youβd like to work towards and how youβd like to feel. then take your scrub and work it clockwise over your heart and work those intentions in, after that just scrub all over and proceed how you normally would! i usually end up curling up in bed under a fluffy sheet right after this scrub, it always makes me feel so cozy and safe <3
🔹 Chamomile (helps combat insomnia, a common symptom of depression) 🔹 Green (contains an amino acid known as theanine which is known to fight depression) 🔹 St John’s Wort (contains compounds known as hypericin and hyperforin, which may affect activity of the brain’s serotonin system) 🔹 Lemon Balm (works as a mild sedative and can ease anxiety and depression) 🔹 Ginger Root (helps to increase important neurotransmitters than can regulate your mood) 🔹 Lavender (research shows that lavender can help combat depression, and has been said to rival antidepressants) 🔹 Peppermint (the menthol in peppermint leaves helps calm mood and aides sleep)
💎
CRYSTALS
💎
🔹 Smoky Quartz (helps elevate moods, overcome negative emotions, and relieves depression) 🔹 Rose Quartz (is a known healer and can help replace negative feelings with love and compassion) 🔹 Amethyst (combats stress and releases a relaxed energy) 🔹 Citrine (emits a sunny, optimistic energy which can aide in combating depression and anxiety) 🔹 Angel Aura Quartz (is known to help with mental illness, and it’s energy can help process emotional disturbances, grief, or trauma)
🕯️
INCENSE
🕯️
🔹 Lavender (reduces stress physically and mentally, and promotes deep sleep) 🔹 Jasmine (helps with alertness, evokes an uplifting energy, and is believed to ease symptoms of depression) 🔹 Ylang Ylang (has a calming affect that elevates mood and is known to help with physical and mental symptoms of anxiety and depression) 🔹 Lemongrass (promotes emotional balance, and uplifts emotional weight) 🔹 Sandalwood (encourages calmness, serenity, and feelings of well being)
🔹 Spend time in the sun, and in nature. Even if you only go and sit in your backyard, it will help, and make you feel a bit better 🔹 Drink water! LOTS OF WATER! Want an extra boost? Make a bunch of sun water and drink it on exceptionally low days to help with your energy and mood levels. 🔹 Ground yourself every night before bed to rid yourself of negative energies 🔹 Turn your sadness into creativity! Work on pages of your grimoire or book of shadows. Do some witchy DIY’s! Set up a new altar! Make some sigils! Being productive and creative are so helpful when you’re feeling melancholic. 🔹 Have some spoonie witch tips for low energy days! 🔹 Garden. Spending time in nature and creating something within the earth is not only rewarding, but gardening is actually a de-stressing activity and can soothe your mood. PLUS think of all the herbs you could grow to help with your craft! 🔹 Talk to someone. Other witches. Friends. A professional. A hotline. Anyone who is willing to listen. Put that energy out there and it will make a world of difference, I promise. 🔹 Let yourself have at least ONE self-care day a week. It doesn’t matter what it entails, as long as you’re taking that time for YOURSELF, magickal or not.
EDIT: Because I’m awful and forgot how vast Tumblr is, and how so many different people, in different situations, use Tumblr, I didn’t mention some very crucial points:
1) DON’T substitute herbs for medication or treatment, unless you’ve consulted a medical professional. 2) DON’T take an herbal supplement WITH your medication unless you have consulted with your doctor first. 3) Witchcraft should NOT be your “go to” when it comes to medical help. Witchcraft is a tool, and although it is helpful, it can also be harmful if you don’t take the proper precautions (thorough research, getting advice from a professional, etc). Keep practicing, keep making magick, but be safe! 4) Lastly, if you need help, physically or emotionally, please consider contacting a professional instead of taking it upon yourself. You’re wonderful and intelligent and a powerful witch, but you aren’t invincible. So, please take care of yourself, talk to a professional, even if it may not seem like the most desirable approach.
And FINALLY, thank you SO MUCH to all of the wonderful witches who contributed on this post. Without their input I may never have remembered to acknowledge that this post is one that NEEDS warnings. So, thank you honey bees, I really appreciate it!

To enchant an item is to infuse it with magickal energy. This energy can come from a variety of sources, including planets, crystals, herbs, or even yourself.
Some individuals use the words “enchant” and “charm” synonymously as a way to describe the process of infusing something with energy, but for the sake of this post and due to my own beliefs, you enchant something and it then becomes a charm. Alternately, a charm can be something with its own innate energy, like a crystal or herbal amulet.
The process of enchanting is extremely versatile and there are many ways to do it successfully, so long as you keep your intent clear in your mind. My personal preference when it comes to enchanting items is to allow 12-24 hours (overnight or a full day) for the item to be infused with energy and become a charm - although, this is completely left up to the individual spell-caster.
Here are a few ideas on how to enchant items, in no particular order:
Surround the item with crystals of corresponding intent
Surround the item with herbs of corresponding intent
Place the item in a jar filled with herbs that represent your intent
Place the item in front of a candle and meditate on your intent
Anoint the item with an oil, charged water, or crystal elixir of corresponding intent
Hold the item in your hand(s) and visualize it filling with the appropriate energy
Hold the item in your hand(s) and speak your intent aloud
Craft a sigil or symbol to keep near the item in an envelope or sachet
Write your intention on paper and keep in an envelope with the item
Pair the item with a corresponding runestone or tarot / oracle card in an envelope
Take the item and put it in a box with other
items that represent your intent such as crystals, herbs, talismans, amulets, etc.
Bury the item in soil with herbs and/or crystals that match your intent (please don’t put salt on your lawn though, unless you want dead grass)
Pass the item through incense smoke that matches your intent
To Rid Yourself of an Unwanted Admirer or Ex-Lover Who Will Not Take No for an Answer
You will need:
A gray candle and a white candle close together
Timing:
Three nights, beginning on Saturday
The Spell:
Light the gray candle for yourself and say: “No more notice me. I am free, surrounded by the mists of invisibility.”
Move the unlit white candle away from yours, saying: “No longer desire me or seek connection. My rejection though kindly is clear. Find love and life new, the binding is through, and you shall no longer be near.”
Blow out the candle.
On night too, light the gray candle, repeat the first words, and moved the unlit white candle farther away from yours, repeating the second words.
Again blow out the candle.
On night 3, move the unlit white candle as far away as possible from yours, saying: “Follow your own path in joy; no longer walk along mine.”
Like the white candle and let it burn through and then like the gray candle, saying: “May the mists of invisibility remain between us perpetually as you go your way and I mine.”
Extinguish the gray candle and dispose of it and any wax from the white candle.
🌙🔮💔
For Cutting the Ties of a Destructive Relationship or One That is Going Nowhere
You will need:
A dark blue pillar candle
A length of thin red curtain cord or strong thread
A container of soil
Timing:
Saturday after dark
The Spell:
Light the candle and say: “By the power of fire, I am set free.”
Tie a knot in the center of the cord and say: “Tie and wind and seek to find freedom from [name the destructive person or situation].”
Hold the knot over the flame with the cord taught in both hands.
Say: “The cord between us was long. The cord between us was strong. But now it is decaying, fraying, burning, breaking.”
Drop both burned halves into the pot of soil, letting the flame burn out, saying: “The link is broken, and I am free.”
Bury the charred cords where nothing grows, still in the soil from the spell.
🌙🔮💔
A Hand-Parting Spell
You will need:
A dark red cord about 3 to 6 and ½ yards long
A tree
Timing:
The hour before sunset
The Spell:
Wind the cord around a tree nine times, securing it with a very loose not, looping the over other end over your hands.
Slowly unwind the cord from the tree, moving in circles farther and farther from the tether, chanting: “Hand part, my heart; hand fast, not last; let go, unwind, unbind, untie, release, too tight bonds now must cease.”
With a final tug, pull the knot free, unloop your hands, and as you do so, say: “Unbound, unwound, hand parted, and so life begins anew; the ties are through.”
Loop the cord over the trees so that it will decay naturally.
🌙🔮💔
A Second Rainy Day Ritual to End a Destructive Relationship When a Lover or Ex Won’t Accept That it’s Over
You will need:
A large circle of green paper
A black pen
Pens of various colors
Scissors
Timing:
When the rain is steadily falling and look set to continue for much of the day
The Spell:
On one half of the paper circle, draw an image to represent yourself in black pen, and on the other half, the two of you together.
Draw a jagged line down the middle and cut the paper circle in half.
Place the half representing the relationship from which you wish to be severed in the rain, saying, “Not to harm you, but to calm; you must let go, it shall be so. New love you’ll fine when you release me from your heart and mind.”
Leave the half representing the relationship in the rain until it has dissolved.
Color the image of yourself in bright patterns and right across it, I AM FREE.
Pin it on a wall until you find new love and forge a new life without your ex.
🌙🔮💔
A Venus Ritual for Moving on From a Broken Heart
You will need:
A green candle
A ring or bracelet in copper, Venus’s metal
A small bag of old metal nails
An empty bowl
Timing:
Friday, the first hour after dawn, Venus’s day and hour
The Spell:
Light the candle.
Put on the copper ring or bracelet, touching it and then your heart with the index finger of your dominant hand, and say, “Lady Venus, morning star, call gentle love from near or far. Send me to a lover new, who will always to me be true.”
Take off the ring, shake the bag of rusty nails hard, and say, “Lady Venus, fierce evening star, this old love does my future mar. Release me from my broken heart, for shattered I am that we did part.”
Drop the nails one by one into the bowl, then say, “No more cruel love, for I grieve you. By the light of Venus, my thoughts you shall leave.”
Put on the ring or bracelet again, saying, “Venus, star of morning, my life begins again with this new dawning.”
Wear the bracelet/ring, dispose of the nails, and let the candles burn through.

“1001 Spells: The Complete Book of Spells for Every Purpose,” by Cassandra Eason
-
@Xultimatekarix I hope one of these works for you 🖤
Ok, TBH I did this on the fly when I got sudden inspiration. This was aimed at an undesirable suitor.
Items:
Black/banishing candle candle (for wax)
Black/banishing ribbon/thread
Paper
Black pen
Name of personΒ
Spit
Waning moon (optional)**
Somewhere dark to place it
Method
Light candle. On a small piece of paper write the personβs name you want to go away.
Underneath draw an eye, to represent their sight, so to speak (doesnβt have to be pretty or detailed)
Using the pen, black out the eye completely, while saying things like, β I blacken your vision, you cannot and do not see me, you do not think of me at all. I blind you of my presence, etc.β I made it up as I went.
Spit on the black eye ( if you do it before blacking it out, it will be difficult⦠I made that mistake)
Fold it up as much you can or want, to seal and trap.
Tie the black ribbon over the folded paper and pour the black candle wax onto it to seal.
This step depends on your practice. I put it in a small black box (until I want to dispose of it) but others may want to bury or burn it.
Aka Lúnasa or Lammas, the first of the 3 harvest festivals, celebrated on August 1st.
I know Lughnasadh is still a ways away, but I thought I’d jump the gun a bit anyway cuz I LIKE BREAD.
🌻Go pick apples or any other produce that’s in season! You can offer some to the Earth or whatever deities you worship. In ancient times, people would bury their offerings at the tops of hills during Lughnasadh.
🌻Bake bread! Make it magical by inscribing symbols or runes into it, using herbs and spices with special properties, and adding sun water. Bless it. Ask your deities to put their energy into it. As you knead and mix, imagine all your magick getting folded in right into the dough. Think of this loaf of bread as your own unique little bundle of magick. This bread can be for anything you want, but some common Lughnasadh themes would be abundance, prosperity, healing, family harmony, and good over evil.
🌻Bask in the color gold
🌻Perform spells for abundance and prosperity
🌻Organize a group sports event—paintball, laser tag, baseball, capture the flag, even something as small as a jump rope competition. The point is to honor Lugh through traditional athletic competitions! What kind of competition that is, is up to you.
🌻Visit a sacred well. No sacred wells around? Go visit a body of water that’s special to you and spend some time dipping your feet in, basking in the sun, and eating some seasonal fruits.
🌻Go to a local farmers market and buy some in-season produce, then cook it up however you want. Save some to offer to the deities of your choice, and eat the rest with friends!
🌻Do a tarot reading for yourself. What’s beginning to manifest in your life? What’s ripe, and what still needs time?
🌻This celebration traditionally included matchmaking and courting. Why not give this tradition a modern twist by going to a speed dating event, a blind date, or another dating-related event?
🌻Sit outside and paint with golds and yellows and oranges. Wear flowers in your hair. Drink some dandelion tea.
🌻Fill your altar with sheaves of wheat, decorative corn, sunstone and citrine and pyrite, gold colors, scoops of earth in decorative jars, fresh-picked herbs and weeds and wildflowers, and that cool thing you painted earlier.
🌻Thank the Earth for the first harvest, and keep reaping! Summer’s not over yet 🧡
